Pierre, SD — The South Dakota Republican Party is proud to announce that we have successfully completed Phase 1 (“On the Rise”) of the RNC GROW Program — the nationwide initiative launched by the Republican National Committee to strengthen state parties, improve grassroots operations, and build winning infrastructure for the future on November 8, 2025.
By meeting the rigorous benchmarks outlined by the RNC, SDGOP has earned the recognition and strategic advantages that come with Phase 1 completion. This milestone reflects our commitment to modernizing party operations, expanding our grassroots network, and preparing for the 2026 election cycle and beyond.
“Completing Phase 1 of GROW demonstrates that the South Dakota GOP is serious about building a strong foundation for conservative leadership statewide,” said Jim Eschenbaum, Chair. “These achievements reinforce our long-term commitment to organization, communication, and empowering our county parties and volunteers.”
The SDGOP is also pleased to share that we are on track to submit the required documentation for Phase 2 of the GROW Program — known as the “Leaders’ Circle” — by the December 15th deadline. This next phase focuses on strengthening leadership development, enhancing training programs, and advancing data-driven voter engagement efforts.
“Completion of Phase 2 would mark another major step forward for the Party as we continue to build a more efficient, more connected, and more effective Republican operation across South Dakota”, said Janet Jensen, SDGOP Vice-Chair.
“We thank every volunteer, precinct leader, county chair, and supporter who helped make Phase 1 possible and who continue to push our party forward. Together, we are building a stronger GOP, ready to put conservative values and common-sense leadership to work across our state.”
